General Entry Information

All persons entering Cameroon must be in possession of a valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months, or another valid travel document establishing the identity of the holder.

Accepted travel documents may include a Laissez-Passer or other travel documents issued by international agencies recognized by the Government of Cameroon.

Travelers are encouraged to ensure that all immigration and travel requirements are satisfied before departure.

Failure to meet entry conditions at the point of entry may affect admission into Cameroon.

Visa Processing and Special Conditions

  • Ordinary visa applications are processed within 72 hours.
  • Express visa applications are processed within 24 hours.
  • Special, Diplomatic, and Service Passport holders are exempted from visa fees.
