Guidance for your installation and stay in Canada
In order to facilitate your future steps with the High Commission, as well as your installation and stay in Canada, you are invited to:
- 1
Get acquainted with the information related to the High Commission: postal address, telephone contacts, e-mail addresses, and other official details.
- 2
Apply for a consular card. The consular card attests to your registration with the High Commission and allows us to keep your identity and contact details. This procedure is done on the website of the High Commission through the relevant registration and consular card link.
- 3
Get in touch with Cameroonian associations in your locality of residence and with people of good character in our diaspora in order to establish useful contacts and facilitate your integration in the host country.
- 4
Respect the laws and regulations of Canada and, in doing so, give a good image of Cameroon and Cameroonians.
- 5
Ensure that you have all the documents that allow you to maintain a regular status, such as a study permit, work permit, or permanent residence, and renew them in time so as not to find yourself on the fringe of legality.
- 6
Report to the High Commission, through the available means of communication, any situation of distress or any compatriot of whom you are aware and who is in distress.
- 7
Share any suggestion, project, or initiative that you feel could benefit our diaspora or our country.
The High Commission remains available to support your settlement, orientation, and connection with useful services and information during your stay in Canada.
